Episode 1

The protagonist, Gu Deok, is a clever and resourceful individual who rises to prominence as an ojeebu, a role similar to a lawyer in the Joseon Dynasty. Her sharp problem-solving skills help her navigate difficult situations. After a raid by bandits on the Ok family, Gu Deok avenges them by capturing the culprits. Impressed by her actions, the Ok family adopts her as their daughter, and she begins a new life as a noblewoman. Despite her changed circumstances, she struggles to move on from her traumatic past.

 

 

Episode 2

While adjusting to her new life, Gu Deok learns of the tragic death of her trusted maid, Baek Yi. The investigation points to Madam Song as the primary suspect, and the situation grows more intricate. At the same time, the newly appointed magistrate, Seong Gyu-jin, arrives and begins investigating the case. Gu Deok and Seong Gyu-jin cross paths, and their interactions set the stage for a deeper connection. As they collaborate to uncover the truth, secrets about Gu Deok’s past start to surface.

Gu Deok, now known as Ok Tae-young, faces a series of challenges as her past and present intertwine. While navigating life as a noblewoman, she encounters conspiracies that threaten her new identity.
